What's a Helio PTC Smart Heater?
The Helio PTC Smart Heater is the safest and most efficient saltwater aquarium heater in both cost and thermal dispersion. Using positive temperature coefficient technology, old resistance wire heating is out and replaced with smart self regulating solid state ceramic chip technology.

A titanium sensor, thermal reading solid state chips embedded into the commercial grade titanium heating element, and a PTC smart tech controller... there are at least three advanced temperature readings constantly being recorded and verified within seconds. Working together in harmonious redundant safety, this gives you the smartest, safest and most stable heater your aquarium inhabitants will have.
Why Choose a Helio Heater?
What is PTC and why is it good? The short version is, as the heating element gets hotter, it will become relatively more difficult to become hotter. Overheating will now become a thing of the past.
All Helio Heaters come standard with a five year warranty. Enhanced safety features such as built in auto shut offs with audible alerts, detection that the sensor, and or heating element is not connected or out of water. Ability to set desired temperature as well as high and low temperature alert readings. And even if the sensor or heating element is experiencing low water flow or is out of water. Technology you want with the safety you need.

Let's explore what we have to offer.
E1 - Remote Sensor Not Connected: The remote sensor is not connected. Check the connection between the controller and the remote sensor.

E2 - Element(s) Not Connected: One or both elements are not connected. Check the connection between the controller and element(s).

E3 - High Temperature Alarm: The aquarium's water temperature has exceeded the high temperature set point.

E4 - Low Temperature Alarm: The aquarium's water temperature has subceeded the low temperature set point.

E5 - Element (I) Error: Element (I) is out of water or low water flow detected around element (I).

E6 - Element(II) Error: Element (II) is out of water or low water flow detected around element (II).

E7 - Remote Sensor Error: Remote sensor has been detected to be out of water or a sudden temperature swing.
